Chicken coops and aviaries

Chicken coops and aviaries

A secure enclosure for chickens, ducks, and rabbits, kept out of reach of foxes and hawks, yet large enough for the owner to walk inside. All VEVOR enclosures are made of galvanized steel with a waterproof roof and lockable doors. Delivery throughout Latvia.

Walk-in metal cages

Sizes range from a compact 2 × 2 m to 3 × 8 m and 2.7 × 7.6 m—with a gabled or domed roof, 2 m high; the roof protects against rain and sun, and a safety latch keeps predators out. Suitable for 5–30 chickens.

Chicken tunnels

Portable mesh tunnels 4–7 m long (including sets of 2) – allow chickens to graze on the lawn and change grazing locations without having to move the coop.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many chickens can fit in a 3 × 4 m pen?

About 10–12 laying hens with a comfortable living area; allow ~1 m² per hen for the exercise area.

Is an aviary suitable for winter?

The structure can withstand snow and wind, but for a warm place to sleep inside, you'll need a closed coop or a nesting box—see Laying Nests.
