Frequently Asked Questions

How much sand do I need?

A 120-cm-diameter crate holds ~150 kg (6 bags of 25 kg each); a 133 × 120 × 43-cm wooden crate holds ~250–300 kg when filled halfway.

Does the lid keep the rain out?

The cover protects against leaves, cats, and most rain; after a downpour, it is recommended to air out the sand.
