Frequently Asked Questions

How much capacity does a firewood rack need for the season? For an average heating season, a storage capacity of 1/2 to 1 korda is often sufficient for a single house, but the exact amount depends on heating needs and firewood consumption.

Does a firewood rack have to have a cover? A cover is not required, but it significantly extends the shelf life of the firewood by protecting it from rain and snow, and it also speeds up the drying process by allowing air to circulate freely from the sides.

How do you choose between an indoor and an outdoor firewood rack? Indoor racks are more compact and designed to hold a small amount of firewood near the fireplace, while outdoor racks, with their larger capacity, are suitable for storing the bulk of your firewood throughout the season.
