Dahua XVR5216AN-4KL-I3/T is a 16-channel Penta-brid 4K digital video recorder with WizSense artificial intelligence features. It supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP cameras, allowing different technology cameras to be used in one system. The device has 16 analogue BNC video inputs with automatic HDCVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS signal recognition.
HDCVI cameras are supported up to 4K resolution at speeds up to 25/30 frames/s, while 5 MP resolution is supported up to 25 frames/s. The video recorder allows connection of up to 32 IP cameras with resolution up to 8 MP each. Total incoming, recording and outgoing network bandwidth is up to 128 Mb/s.
WizSense features include 8-channel AcuPick, 4-channel face detection, 8-channel perimeter protection, 16-channel SMD Plus and 16-channel AI Coding. AcuPick helps search for required objects in recordings more efficiently, while SMD Plus provides secondary filtering of people and vehicles, reducing the number of false alarms. Perimeter protection supports up to 10 IVS rules per channel.
Face recognition feature supports up to 10 face databases with a total of up to 20,000 images. The device also provides 16-channel AI video quality analysis, scene change detection, irregular black block masking detection, EPTZ and privacy protection functions.
The video recorder provides 16-channel two-way audio communication over coaxial cable. HDMI and VGA connections are available for video output, while network connection is provided by a Gigabit Ethernet port. Front USB 2.0 and rear USB 3.0 ports are available for data backup and connection of external devices.
2 SATA bays are provided for recording storage, each supporting a hard drive with capacity up to 16 TB. Video compression uses AI Coding, Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ and H.264. Device power consumption without hard drives is less than 15 W, and it is designed to operate at temperatures from –10 to +55 °C.
