16 Channel IP Security Camera System
The Dahua NVR4216-16P-4KS3 is a 16 channel 1U network video recorder with 16 integrated PoE ports. It supports IP cameras with resolution up to 12 MP and provides up to 160 Mb/s incoming and recording bandwidth, as well as up to 80 Mb/s outgoing bandwidth when AI functions are not activated.
16 PoE Ports
The built-in 16 × 10/100 Mb/s PoE ports with IEEE 802.3af/at standard allow you to connect compatible IP cameras to the NVR while simultaneously providing network connectivity and power. Total PoE power reaches 130 W, with a maximum power of 25.5 W per port.
SMD Plus Intelligent Motion Analysis
The recorder features 4 channel SMD Plus, designed to distinguish humans and vehicles from other moving objects. This helps reduce false alarms that may be caused by rain, leaves or lighting changes.
AI Functions in Cameras
Using compatible IP cameras, the system supports face detection and recognition, perimeter protection, SMD, people counting, stereo analysis and heat maps. Perimeter analysis can be used on up to 6 channels, whilst face detection and recognition are supported on all channels according to camera capabilities.
2 HDD Bays
The video recorder has 2 SATA connections, and each drive can support up to 20 TB capacity. This provides substantial space for long-term video archive storage. The device also supports disk grouping.
4K HDMI Output
The NVR is equipped with HDMI and VGA video outputs. HDMI supports up to 3840 × 2160 resolution, allowing the security camera system to be easily connected to a 4K monitor or television.
Efficient Video Compression
Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ and H.264 formats are supported, as well as MJPEG. This helps reduce the disk space occupied by video recordings and network load.
Remote Management
The NVR supports iOS and Android mobile devices, ONVIF Profile T/S/G, as well as CGI and SDK. This provides convenient management of the security camera system and compatibility with various network camera solutions.
