AXIS P1488-LE is a professional outdoor bullet-type network camera with a 1/1.2″ CMOS sensor that delivers detailed 3840 × 2160 pixel images at up to 60 frames per second. The camera is designed for monitoring territories, perimeters, transport routes and other objects where high image detail is required.
Optical zoom
The camera is equipped with an auto-focusing 5.9–13.8 mm lens and zoom function. The horizontal field of view is 114–46°, and the vertical field of view is 62–26°, allowing you to adjust the monitoring area according to the specific object.
Night vision
OptimizedIR infrared illumination provides monitoring in complete darkness up to 50 m away. Lightfinder 2.0 technology helps preserve colours and detailed images even in very low light conditions.

Smart analytics
The camera is based on the ARTPEC-9 processor, which provides edge computing capabilities and supports advanced analytics applications. This allows event analysis to be performed directly in the camera, reducing the need for external processing.

The camera supports AV1, H.264 and H.265 video compression. AXIS Zipstream technology helps reduce bandwidth and storage usage while preserving essential image details.
Two-way audio
The built-in microphone and audio system with full-duplex two-way communication allows you to capture and transmit sound in both directions.
Local recording storage
The camera has an integrated memory card reader that supports microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards. This allows recordings to be stored locally without a separate recording device.
Durable outdoor housing
The aluminium and polycarbonate housing provides IP66 and IP67 protection against dust and water ingress. IK10 impact resistance rating provides additional protection against mechanical impacts. The camera is designed for pole mounting.
PoE power supply
The camera supports DC and PoE power supply, including IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards, allowing data transmission and power supply to be provided using a network cable.
